Never put your dog in a tin metal cage...

So the other morning we all woke up to the sound of what we thought was construction.   Unfortunately, it wasn't.  Our neighbor apparently thought it'd be a good idea to build a big tin metal cage for his dogs and punish them for a month for biting someone (seeing that a month from now they'll really learn their lesson and remember not do do it again...)  So not only were we already really blessed to hear the sound of rooster's crowing 24/7 (sometimes they even get the street light confused with the sun when it turns on at 3 a.m....), but we are now doubly blessed to wake up each morning to the sound of barking dogs running themselves into their tin metal cage walls over and over again, and then proceeding to hear their owner hit their cage with a stick repeatedly, hoping that they'll be quiet.  I don't think he realizes that it's not working...  They just continue to bark and pound themselves into the walls all day, every day.
I'm now considering making a new white noise machine that incorporates all of these wonderful sounds into it.  I really think it'd be a big seller...

  3. Hilarious! My heart goes out to you as you endure so many discomforts in an effort to see other people come to know Jesus. You're in my prayers!
